For the record, I love The Stooges and The Doors, not a huge Clash fan but they're OK. I honestly think they all made real music though, in fact I'm almost certain it was real!

Yeah hyperbole.

I meant that The Stooges are revolutionaries because in 1969 nobody sounded as raw and intense as them.

But this isn't 1969 anymore and by todays standards I don't think they're that interesting except for one great album and historical significance.
