I'd love to see your signature/links too, but the huge and obnoxious ones have caused me to block all signatures.

There were more than 3 grunge bands.

I gave that fight up a long time ago.

Pre-'75 is more like it.

Of course, while I've given up trying to convince people to sort things released in that era into their rightful genres, I still recommend you don't right it all off, especially since there's plenty of lesser-known music from that time period

How does this differ from the great majority of lyricists out there? Whether it's about heartache, their disagreement with the government, troubles with friends, etc., it all comes down to this.

Eggman response: It's classic rock.

Most classic rock sucks, and it's only good when you're in a "classic rock phase".

The Arcade Fire's Funeral, however great, is not one of the best albums of all time.

Nirvana was the only good grunge band. The others are only acceptable at times.

Rage Against the Machine gets very old. Very fast.

Fugazi is overrated.

Anything Ozzy Osbourne-associated just simply isn't anything worth listening to more than once.
I agree with all of those except the ones I bolded, pretty awesome right there.

I just saw the Arcade Fire one... surely it's not a popular opinion to think that Funeral is one of the best albums ever?

For some reason a lot of people do, I mean it's a really good album, but I just can't see it being named one of the greatest albums ever...I mean it's not up there with Dylan or the Stones.
