I really despise music by Nick Cave in any of his projects. Someone put on some Grinderman at work on the speakers yesterday and I was reminded of how much, quite frankly, it makes my ears bleed. I respect him as a lyricist, admit he probably makes some good music, I just can not get into it.

Chillout blows ambient out of the water 99% of the time. I just do not understand the ambient and drone music crazes... there's a few bands I like and when it's done right it's great, but it's only been done right a few times in the history of music as far as I know.

CCR owns The Beatles in every way possible.

Matt Bellamy is technically one of the best singers these days

All Radiohead's albums are **** except OK Computer & The Bends

Paul Wellers' solo work is superior to The Jam and The Style council

Rise Against suck live, and so does fall out boy.

Terence Hill, as recently confirmed during an interview to an Italian TV talk-show, was offered the role but rejected it because he considered it "too violent". Dustin Hoffman and John Travolta declined the role for the same reason. When Al Pacino was considered for the role of John Rambo, he turned it down when his request that Rambo be more of a madman was rejected.

I agree with this one.
Good drone/ambient is really hard to find. Ive looked into it, but I've only found like, two bands to care about. Chillout, on the other hand, is the music that propelled me onto all of the music I like today

Haha oh man, I forgot about Smash Mouth. Takes me back to little league when I'd play in all-day baseball tournaments and I would hear "All Star" by them and New Radicals - Get What You Give all day long on repeat. Mixed in with some country of course.

For my unpopular music opinions. Well obviously the forum opinions differ a lot from general music opinions of people who aren't on this forum. But I will say that I don't hate Linkin Park, which seems to be an unpopular music opinion round these parts.
