Oh snap!

But that aside: Todd Rundgren the musicmaker > whoever he produced

Never really liked Todd Rundgren as a musician and most of his material as an artist usually bored me.

As a producer he was too diverse in the bands that he worked with and never achieved any real consistency despite his reputation as a producer. Of all the albums that he produced, the only ones that I would say that were any good were:

The Band- Stage Fright
New York Dolls- S/T
Steve Hillage- L
Tubes- Remote Control

Four good albums is not much from such an acclaimed producer.

A Wizard A True Star is quite good, lotsa weird experimentation

Something/Anything ? bores the cack off my underwear

my fave Rundgren production is XTC's Skylarking though the band hated it cos they had pretty much zilch control over the resulting product

you can say anything you want but my peace of mind won't be touched. you just need comfort my friend. El Duce, i still have faith that you'll change.

anyway, going back to the topic. another Unpoplular Music Opinion of Mine is that most of rock artists have long hair. or was it just in the 70's or something? anyway, everytime i think of rock, it's always a long-haired guy with a guitar in his hands.

another Unpopular Music Opinion:

everytime i hear of a classic song, (i.e. Frank Sinatra, etc.) i always think of Manilyn Monroe. i don't know but she's the perfect epitome for me of classic beauty and classic music even though she's not really a musician.

Todd Rundgren`s dictatorial approach on Skylarking is pretty well documented and XTC hated working with him.
