Those bands were hardly terrific and Blancmange very forgettable.

Kate Bush though, yer she was at the height of her creative powers.

Though I will make an exception for "MTV Unplugged in New York".

the early 90s was a golden age
I think you're smart and I agree with you that the 90s were a really good time for mainstream music but I would take you so much more seriously if you capitalized a letter here and there.

Unplugged was great. Don't get me wrong I like Nirvana. Soundgarden I could care less about.

Neil Young is the best guitarist ever

who else would do a one-note solo?

Yeah, my love for Soundgarden is dying all the time, but I still think "Superunknown" in one of the most albums to come out in ins time. I still like that one from time to time "My Wave", "Fell on Black Days", "Black Hole Sun" (also in my favorite videos still), "4th of July" and "Like Suicide" are still great to me. Everything else has maybe a couple songs I like on them, but as a while just don't do it for me.

But yeah, "Superunknown" is to me still a great record, not one i listen to often, but a good mix of sounds.

As for Nirvana, I am a huge fan, lol... not that i listen to them much other... but they were an obsession with me for years.

Unplugged is my favorite still. If only discussing studio albums though, In Utero is my favorite.
