^Kurt Cobain^? That is defiantly an unpopular opinion concerning Young by the way. Neil Young has an unorthodox style, his stage presence needs a little better choreography when he plays electric guitar with a band. He just looks "dorky" to me on stage. Rockin' In The Free World is the only popular single, I have personally heard him do with a live band that sounded OK. Ive always related his true talent as a great songwriter/artist that played acoustic guitar by himself or with duo acoustic guitars, sitting down! on a chair!

The second, third, etc tier indie bands are just as boring, derivative, and ****ty as the second, third, etc tier extreme metal bands.

The dorky Neil Young style is what makes him so special. Seeing him bunched up on stage with Billy Talbot and Frank Sampedro is the stuff of rock legend and makes them instantly recognizable as Neil Young and Crazy Horse! I love that "The Year of the Horse" dvd

I agree with this unpopular opinion. Le Noise was my favorite album of 2010.
