Madonna... well... I've really tried, but I've only liked a stray song here and there a little bit. After Music she got extremely boring.
Meh. Stop taking music so seriously. It's supposed to be fun after all. Even if you're listening to it for negative reasons.

Lol. I made the mistake of eating fried chicken when playing on my laptop a few weeks back. I'm still cleaning the chicken out.

So having personal likes and dislikes is taking music too seriously? Maybe I am taking music very seriously, but I'm not sure that's a bad thing.

Oops! And that's why you shouldn't touch other peoples personal computers without protective gear. If you did a petri dish experiment on my laptop, you'd grow a huge purple ball of deadly germs in no time, probably.

Thinking too hard on why you should and should not like music is taking it too seriously. Could you not just sit in a pool in one of those floaty chairs with some bull**** music playing in the background and just enjoy yourself?

You can recognize that a song sucks without going into the details of why you don't like it.

I don't really know how to relax, so I'd pay too much attention to it to enjoy it if it wasn't my thing. I'm sort of like a Woody Allen character when it comes to that. In fact, I've been trying to relax more this year, but I can't make my head shut the **** up.

Boom. I don't know how to make you relax, but I certainly know how to point out that listening to music for the sake of fun, rather than merely appreciation, is a perfectly valid exercise. As far as I'm concerned it's the difference between having a good time and doing homework.

Try drinking more beer. I'm a neurotic mess, but beer is always good for loosening up.

Accepting bad music while having fun is one thing, calling listening to bad music fun in itself is another.
