Jill Scott being multi-platinum isn't an argument, it's a fact. If you don't believe me and are too lazy to look it up, that's really not my problem. The internet is at your fingertips my friend, try it out.

ROTFL your arguement makes no sense at all... you make claims but expect for people to believe you without you having evidence? So its mandatory for other posters who get in debates with you to list out word for word facts but your exempt to do this yourself????

Your arguement is BULL until you can prove it And you making assumptions and claims doesnt validate your arguement. Grammys has nothing to do with ALBUM sales.... Grammys are awarded by the industry itself.... producers, singers, songwriters, etc it has nothing to do with ALBUM sales.So you can stop arguing that her having 3 grammys means that she is a multi platinum seller.

The reason why I asked for you to prove this is because Jill Scott isnt a multi platinum selling artist..... She only as one platinum album that has sold 2 million the others have sold less than a million and even 500,000.

I didnt start this debate. Posters responded to what I posted in the thread. Originally I simply listed artists who I thought were underrated as well as overrated.

When it's not something that's so unbelievably simple to look up, I'm more than happy to provide a source. In this case, I would clearly have been wasting my time since, apparently, you already had the information anyway.

Lets break down the word Multi-platinum since you obviously dont know what it means....

Muti means MANY....MORE than ONE... Platinum of course means 1 million. If she only has ONE album that has gone platinum that means she isnt a MUTI platinum selling artist which means more than one of her albums has gone platinum which Im sure you know. It seems your debating just for the hell of it lol

Multi-platimum means a single record that has sold multiples of one million units, which I'm sure you know.

I at least give you some credit for posting some evidence unlike your peers LOL..... Most of those magazines are not current and were during his fame with The White Stripes and him being on magazine covers doesnt necessarily mean the industry itself acknowledges him.

Donna Summer has been on more magazine covers and she hasnt been inducted in the RHOF yet.
