Sounds interesting. Might give this a little listen.

There are a lot of great qualities to it. I could list them if you like.

L'Orange is pretty great. He dropped an album this year with Jeremiah Jae that I dug. The Orchid Days is my favourite though.

All Fours by Bosse-de-Nage

well ill be damned. the first metal album of the year to floor me (don't think The Artwork is really metal right friends??). hard to explain really what this is. kind of blackgazey in a good way. but its crisper than blackgaze. it's not "blended", it's noisy but clear. but it also reminds me of Isis or Rosetta style sludge, certainly vocally. And then there's the Washerwoman track that sounds straight out of Slint's Spiderland before descending into more chaos. really really really good stuff here would recommend.

Did you hear The Body/Thou split?

I'll be checking that album out as well.

You're not a fan of A Forest of Stars? Their new one floored me

Jesus the Carpenter - Musique Electronische

Pretty much my best solo album to date. The first track is a modern classical rendering of synthesizer improvisations using aleoteric methods. It's pretty sweet, it's very inspired by John Cage, Angus Maclise, and Stockhausen. The second track is a sweet synth drone.
