I'm not really a hater and I know they're capable of making good music, but fuck, does Geddy Lee piss me off.

^Why?

I like Rush, personally.

I used to be like, obsessed with them, but now they're just a band that I listen to every now and then. I'd buy a CD though.

In your mind your playing in Funkadelic

In reality you look like your playing in Level 42.

Nope. Maybe a few moments on the expanded Rock Of Ages though.

I wouldn't go down on any girl after she just did a gig in a hot sweaty club... but I see your point

BS... they aren't the kind of band everybody likes. The Beatles are closer to that status... Rush has an annoying vocalist and their music isn't that good. I can tolerate a few of their songs though.

I don't care for the Cure either... for the longest time I couldn't understand how anybody could enjoy Guns n Roses because of Axl's voice alone, to me it was like crapping all over a nicely put together piece of art when his vocals would kick in. It's all an acquired taste I guess.

GnR play rock n roll. I think scruffier "unclean" vocals are much more suitable for that kinda music so I'd much rather have a Bon Scott, David Lee Roth or Axl Rose than a Chris Cornell or Mike Patton. Axl suited GnR perfectly.
