I'd also assume that some may have thought you were the same dude that started the original thread, signing up under a different name, and bringing the topic back up. Understandable backlash, in that case, as the original post was pretty dumb and going nowhere fast.

to get back to a subject that was slightly touched on, what about originality in the music world? i mean i have thought about this a bit and is there even any chance of there being another band that really does come along and "invent a genre" or something really "woah" worthy (as was said before)? or are we going to continue to spiral into this trend of blurring and combining genres into oblivion. not that there is anything wrong with that, maybe the best music ever would be "neo-psychedelic indie ambient folk-pop with post-punk and new wave influences" (although i'm sure there is already music like that being made).

i just mean is there a chance for something truly original or has the music world hit a wall?

Well a lot of what you said was sure to stir up a storm, like saying that no one is truly influenced by 70s punk is (IMO) way to big of a generalization and many people will disagree, also I think going back to the whole "you think your opinion is better?" is not really going to help you much. Sorry that the whole Failblog.org thing bugged you so much but it was really just a joke. @TheBig3KilledMyRainDog don't assume you what kind of person I am, that I am someone who has no meaningful opinion, even if I didn't have one I wouldn't want some one assuming something like that about me based off of 5 or so words, I mean other people say STFU but I say something about failblog.org and I get in shizz ,THIS IS HATE CRIMES
