the who, beatles, alice cooper & elvis costello are the only ones i know :) there alright! not my first choice of tune :D
Michael Jackson - Black Or White ReCon & Demand - Like A Rainbow ReCon & Squad-E - Claim To Recycle Robert Miles - In My Dreams Snow Patrol - Finish Line Tomcraft - Lonliness Solar Stone - Seven Cities Robert Miles - Children (original version) Stereophonics - Superman pretty shit playlist imo. |
Either I don't know it or I'm not that into it. Sorry, little in that list for me to comment on.
Four Tet - Smile Around The Face Rapider Than Horsepower - Testify Kincaide - untitled Daniel Johnston - I Hate Myself Shotmaker - In Motion Kevin Drew - Lucky Ones Eric's Trip - Sunlight Atlas Sound - River Card Kings Of Leon - Notion The Golden Dogs - Can't Get Your Face Out Of My Head |
I like that list, a lot of good stuff, Daniel Johnston, Kevin Drew, Kings of Leon and Atlas Sound are all good, haven't heard of the rest.
Vetiver- Los Pajaros Del Rio Deer Tick- Hell on Earth Perhapst- Incense Cone Say Anything- Metal Now Smoking Popes- Can't Find It Jenny Lewis With The Watson Twins- Rise Up With Fists!! The Ramones- Listen To My Heart Arctic Monkeys- Balaclava The Mountain Goats- Cubs In Five Silversun Pickups- Rusted Wheel Weird shuffle, at least most of these artists haven't shown up any other shuffle I've done. |
I post too much in this thread I suppose, but I enjoy this pointless little game. I can't say I'm huge on your stuff either... a decent bit I haven't heard, then some things I don't really like (The Ramones, Arctic Monkeys, etc). Silversun Pickups are good though, so there's one point.
Bark Bark Bark - Brand New Shoes Ludacris - Greatest Hits (Skit) Dinosaur Jr. - Back To Your Heart Led Zeppelin - Rock and Roll Jaga Jazzist - Going Down Daelek - Koener (using -e since I'm too lazy to get umlauts) MF DOOM - Fillet-O-Rapper Honest Bob and the Factory-To-Dealer Incentives - Country Mo-Fo Wilco - Kamera Buckethead - Soothsayer (Dedicated to Aunt Suzie) Wow how terrible. Two skits of sorts, several repeats from artists I've already had show up, and really only two songs I even like (Soothsayer and Going Down). |
Gotta love these, I'm not normally one for such "surveys" but anything with music is cool, I enjoy seeing what people are listening to.
another one from me; 1. Black Flag - I Love You 2. Jane's Addiction - Standing in the Shower...Thinking 3. Steve Earle - John Walker's Blues 4. Rollins Band - Hard 5. The Adicts - Runaway 6. Minutemen - Courage 7. The Pogues - 5 Green Queens and Jean 8. U.K. Subs - C.I.D. 9. Gogol Bordello - Harem In Tuscany (Taranta) 10. Tom Waits - Misery is the River of the World |
I look at that list and nothing really grabs at me as something I much care for..
1. "Never Is Enough" Barenaked Ladies 2. "Creeping Shadow" Kow Otani 3. "LOL" Pepper 4. "Blame the Vain" Dwight Yoakam 5. "Halloween II" Misfits 6. "Big Salty Tears" The Ziggens 7. "Sister Beams" Slobberbone 8. "Ayo Technology" Milow 9. "Ten Days Late" Third Eye Blind 10. "Velcro" Single File Just an ugly shuffle this time. |
The only song i've heard is the Misfits Halloween II, which is great. It's one of the wierdest, creepiest songs ever.
Afghan Whigs - I Keep Coming Back Pink Floyd - Have A Cigar Melvins - The Smiling Cobra Lemonheads - Hannah & Gabi Pixies - I Bleed Husker Du - Too Far Down Echo & The Bunnymen - A Promise Slowdive - Sing Jucifer - Pontius Of Palia Tricky - Suffocated Love I love this song. Bob Mould is at his best and most honest with an acoustic guitar. There's so much emotion in his voice. |

Hot Cross - History Fell in the Heart Broke Open The Constantines - National Hum Holy Fuck - Lovely Allen Palatka - Black Elk Beck - ****in With My Head (Mountain Dew Rock) I play this dorky game way too much. |

^I like the Beach Boys and Cpt. Beefheart, but unfortunately I don't know much of the others. But I'm curious about "Hang on to your Ego", are you a Beach Boys fan, or this song is one of the exceptions. Cause they do have much better songs :/

It nearly put me in a trance. Decent list overall...though I'm still not sure I enjoy Ten Grand. |
I'm not familiar with some of that, but The Stooges, Tom Waits, Mastodon, and Iggy Pop are all pretty good.
Edit: Hell, Sidewinder posted before me. To be honest if yours was the most recent when I hit reply I probably wouldn't have responded since I know very little of that, so someone more knowledgeable could give their thoughts. The Chemical Brothers - Shake Break Bounce System of a Down - Hypnotize Hideki Naganuma - Funky Dealer Primus - Spegetti Western Obituary - Bloodsoaked The Roots - What Goes On Pt. 7 Nirvana - Come As You Are (Live, from the Unplugged in NY album) Vader - Flag of Hate (cover) The Sound of Animals Fighting - Un'Aria Ancora The Beatles - Good Day Sunshine The Beatles seem to pop up in all of these for me... |

"Meat Shakin' Woman" Blind Boy Fuller 8. "Cowboys from Hell" Pantera 9. "Lovefool" Cardigans 10. "Tight Rope" Astronautalis |

Animal Collective- #1 Warren Zevon- Raspberry Beret Phosphorescent- Pride Edan- Promised Land The Decemberists- The Crane Wife 1 & 2 The Morning Benders- Loose Change Kaiser Chiefs- Time Honoured Tradition Sufjan Stevens- Star Of Wonder Pearl Jam- I Am Mine The Mountain Goats- Lion's Teeth I play this game too much. It's a good time killer though. Yes my favorite song out of these is a Christmas song, but it's a gorgeous Christmas song and I can listen to it year around. |
Good list on the whole. I like Animal Collective and The Decemberists. Huge fan of Phosphorescent too so bonus points there! These are negated by The Kaiser Chiefs though unfortunately, but still, above par list.

Pretty good list here. Such a great Beck track, plus an underrated Smiths song. Also points for Cat Power and Bright Eyes. Life on Mars? is a great song but I've never heard that cover, and that Johnny Cash track is from American IV, right? Good stuff.
