Very nice list, very nice indeed. Lots of classic songs, and I'm a huge fan of many of the artists on the shuffle (Bruce, BB's, Bowie, Radiohead and Elvis). I'd have to say I'd have gone for Radiohead as my favourite though, one of their best.

I'm not familiar with much of your list apart from Beirut, Ten Grand, and of course Nirvana. I haven't really been excited with anything I've heard by Beirut or Ten Grand yet. I used to be completely in love with Nirvana years ago.

This is great stuff. Heroin is one of the best VU tracks, I LOVE the McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra, a great Hendrix track (that reversed guitar solo always gets me), plus Skip James and Horace Silver. The rest I'm shady on. 9/10
