I agree with Sleepy Jack and I still don't see why we need a limit. New posters will probably not come here and they will try to do what nubs usually do, ask for a song name or a recommendation for equipment. Either way, what if the noob becomes an active member? Then they never got a say on the vote of that band even though they were here. I think we are being too much like fascists with these rules.

I'm not sure it's fascism, but i have come around to the idea of letting everyone vote, I like Jackhammer's suggestion of having a prerequisite number of posts for nominating a band.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

to JJJ idk if ill still be posting in november either but that doesnt mean i dont deserve a vote
I don't think lounge counts towards post count.

I think it should be date joined, not post count though. Like anyone who has been here 6 months can nominate.

500 sounds cool, but at least put my nomination I already submitted up...please?

Facism = ideology that puts the interests of the individual subordinate to the interests of the state

I don't see the connection.
