yea i dont think 1 album is enough, although "isnt anything" is quite good as well. Pet Sounds didnt push The Beach Boys over the top did it.

Isn't Anything is still better than 50% of everything I have ever heard even though it sounds like it was recorded in a basement on a single mic. In for sure. If an album can still sound superlative 20 years after I first heard it then there is no compunction here at all.

YES I think it's better than 'loveless'. Sue me.

Voted yes because they influenced so many of my favorite artists... although I actually know very little of their stuff, I have a feeling I'd really like it...

Their 2 best albums BY FAR are Isn't Anything and Loveless. Nothing else touches those two!

I'll keep those titles in mind when I am searching for their stuff... my curiosity has been awakened...

I'll abstain from this one.

It's all very well them being influential blah blah blah, but that's no good if I only ever feel the urge to listen to them about once every 5 years.

The best album Kevin Shields was involved in was XTRMNTR, I think Loveless is rubbish.

I still haven't got any of their EP's, grand mistake on my part. Obvious yes, Loveless is often called a masterpiece for very good lesson.
