Doesn't he seem uniform with his voice on most of all Yes records?

(Never heard Anderson talk though)

Well believe me it's not a put on voice, you don't get a voice like that from trying, you gotta be a hobbit first.

And I think theres enough scientific evidence to support the fact that Jon Anderson is clearly a hobbit.

These are the big 3 of Yes's discography, if you haven't heard any of them then at least download one of them and give it a listen before you vote.

You...really don't want to see Yes to go down in flames, do you?

They had some great progressive albums, but those are few and far between and don't really reflect their overall identity as musicians. I feel for you boo, I really do, but if you would have picked some other prog band - King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Rush, hell, even Genesis, things might have turned out differently.

I want to see someone get a Jeff Buckley nomination in. That would be awesome.

What are you talking about? Of course they do.

I know I'm a fanboy and thus I like a lot of their work no casual listener would be caught dead listening to, but you're telling me you don't want to vote for them because they didn't have enough great material, but you want JEFF BUCKLEY to get in?

He made ONE finished album for gods sake, and I don't see what was do damn innovative about it, compared to say an album like Close to the Edge in 1972.

But like Elliott Smith I guess being dead gives you a free pass. Defining a new form of music obviously ain't that important, but lets just go ahead and induct every run of the mill folkie/crooner that people only care about because they're dead.
