Finally, wise words from someone who doesn't listen to a certain band. That's a lot better than 'I voted No because I haven't heard a lot by them' etc that we sometimes get.

Eh, I'd say get Pet Sounds AND a best of album. I ain't really keen on Pet Sounds, bar 3 of the songs. The rest of the album is totally different to, say, the songs that'd appear on the 'best of'

I'll download "20 Good Vibrations", and if I like it I'll get Pet Sounds.

make sure it's an audio file, cos if it's a video file then your parents may not appreciate you having it.

You should have seen their faces when I got a music video for a song off "Pornography"

Beach Boys obviously a lock to me. As innovative and influential as bands like the Beatles and Kinks, and I think their best music was superior to the Beatles and on par with the Kinks.

Tough. Pet sounds is awesome and they're a great band but they're not quite hall of fame status in my eyes. Very close though.

Hey, first nomination I've listened to enough to make a judgement.

I'm going to say no, their whole sound just doesn't appeal to me so much. And despite their influence and legacy (which I actually feel is a little overstated), quality music is still the biggest factor.
