Well originally I said that because they were more important socially than musically. Good for them though, getting in. I have no problem with it if the majority of voters feel that way.

I'm sorry but they were much more important musically...They weren't popular enough to be socially important. I'm not sure you understand their huge musical impact.

That would be a yesum. For being one of the few hip-hop groups actually worth listening to. They were also the best.

Then ask yourself if you should really be voting to keep a group out of the hall of fame based on your genre preference? If you don't like it, fine, but don't call it unimaginative, I don't want to drag this thread into yet another Hip Hop argument.
