I like Genesis more for classical prog so I rarely listen to them. Fragile is alright tho.

My favorite Yes album has alternated between Fragile and Close to the Edge.

Yeah, Fragile is good. All the little solo spots are nice and the space rockers are good.

I REALLY don't like yes.

One time in high school I did a page in the newspaper with all these album reviews, and one of the albums was "The Yes Album" and my entire review was just, "No".

As for why I voted no, I dont like them because they're a tedious boring pretentious 70's prog-band, whose unmemorable albums should be destroyed and forgotton before they can spread anymore noise pollution to unsuspecting car stereos and computers. They have little to no relevance today, surely a testament to how insignificant their musical contributions have been.

I really despise Yes.

Did you copy and paste that from Blender?

WRONG. They're still an incredibly influencial band. And calling them insignificant is about the most retarded thing I've ever heard, even the most avid Yes haters would call bullsh*t on that.

They are considered by many to be the defining band of their genre, which was by no means insignificant when it was one of the the dominate genres of rock music in the early 70s, as brief as that was, progressive rock is not insignificant and that is something even prog haters should accept, progressive rock is f*cking huge and people underestimate how popular it is today, and how much of an influence it's had on modern music both directly and indirectly.

Are all of your posts just going to bitch about our nominations? Considering the criteria for nomination and inclusion is for long standing members I find it rich that you have posted nothing but disdain for our choices. No matter how much you hate a band, anyone who reviews an album with just this: "no" is kinda hard to take seriously.

If you were a long standing member then we would take the criticism better. Why don't you post elsewhere on the site and prove to us that you can bitch about our choices.

I wouldn't be too harsh on him, if he doesn't like Yes then he doesn't like Yes. Can't judge him on two nominations.

I don't think you appreciate his highbrow sense of humor.

You see guys, what he did there was, he reviewed a Yes album by simply saying the opposide of the word yes. Which you gotta admit is some truly brilliant wordplay.

Voting yes for Yes. They have a few duds but an all around strong discography.
