I liked the instrumental tracks from In The Aeroplane... but the rest of the album didn't do it for me. Mangum's voice alway seemed to ruin the atmosphere of the music for me. I vote no.

Aeroplane is a good album, but yeah, it's overrated.

Maybe I'm saying this because I listened to that album expecting it to be an earf*ck of unimaginable horror, as I am required to expect from anything with the Indie label on it, but yeah, it was a great album, maybe even the best album of 98.

But I never hear any reference to the bands other work, which is only one other album, as if it's not really that important, and I don't think this album is great enough to warrant these guys a place in the hall of fame.

If he spawned Led Zep, then I wish he wasn't born.

I didn't vote at first, but after giving some consideration, I decided to vote "no." I've listened to In the Aeroplane a couple times, and I do not like it. And seeing as they only have one other album, they don't seem like Hall of Fame material to me.
Tommy: I'm funny how? Funny like a clown? I amuse you? I'm here to f*cking amuse you? What do you mean, funny? How am I funny?
Henry: You know, how you tell a story.
Tommy: I don't know. You said it. You said I'm funny. How am I funny?

No! I don't like Aeroplane. I don't see what the big deal about them is.

I am surprised it's such a landslide

Gonna vote yes out of pity now.

If you're posting in the music forums make sure to be thoughtful and expressive, if you're posting in the lounge ask yourself "is this something that adds to the conversation?" It's important to remember that a lot of people use each thread. You're probably not as funny or clever as you think, I know I'm not.

Me too, especially considering the semen stains in the ITAOTS thread.

Glad though.
