CD's, I like vinyl but my record player died years ago. I have some mp3's but it's not the same as sitting down with the CD on the stereo, leafing through the booklet and singing/headbanging along with the lyrics in front of you.

You might be listening on a crappy player or a worn record because quality wise vinyl wins hands down. It's so natural and clean and everything that is supposed to be there is there exactly as it was.

unfortunetly viynles are an exspensive passion so I don't own any of my own.

I do love vinyl, but I honestly end up going with MP3 most of the time. It's just easier to store/carry/obtain and I'm not a fine-tuned enough audiophile that I notice the difference unless I really try.

I'm quite young and have never bothered with vinyl, so CDs for me.

CDs came around to replace them god awful tapes.

Yay for CDs.

Then digital, digital is good if you can't be arsed listening to a whole album and just want to put your songs on shuffle, or pick certain songs you want to listen to.

With vinyl I don't like flipping the record every few songs, I don't like putting the records back in the sleeves, and the sound is hit or miss. Digital seems cheap to me. I like CD's. You get the artwork and everything, and I like to have something tangible.

It really doesn't matter what format I choose, but if I actually make my way into buying the album either Vinyl or CD, it will more than likely be because I value the album. I don't mind supporting artists, and am not too fond in wearing low quality shirts that feel like I'm wearing cardboard.

I listen to MP3's the most because, as others have said, it's convenient. However, I prefer CD's. There's just something about holding the CD and flipping through the booklet while you listen...

That last sentence is the most important for me. I just like to have something to look at when I'm listening to the album for the first time. I prefer vinyl because of the sound, and the experience as a whole, but I have my fair share of CDs as well.
