I'd agree with the vocal aspect improving, but dam 43% Burnt dam. Plus Calculating had a lot of really great interludes that stopped it from being just another '40 minutes of tempo changes'. That, and I really liked their old drummer.

Not that I dislike Ire Works though. I think those additions to their sound were necessary to expand their horizons. Plus, they do write a nice pop tune when they want (ie.Black Bubblegum).

Nice, but you forgot Renegades. I would put it between S/T and Battle Of LA.

Just to be different from all the people doing Dinosaur Jr:

Sebadoh

Smash Your Head on the Punk Rock>Bubble & Scrape>Harmacy>III>Bakesale>The Sebadoh>>>The Freed Weed>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Weed Forestin'

And just for reference, if you rate Dinosaur Jr's albums and YLAOM isn't at the top, there is no debate. You're just wrong.

MF DOOM

Madvillainy>Operation: Doomsday>Vaudeville Villain>Mm..Food>The Mouse and the Mask>Take Me To Your Leader>Venomous Villain>Born Like This

I've never heard Unexpected Guests or Sniperlite and I'm not bothering with his live album. I'll do all the other ones I've heard but I'm not really sure which are considered proper albums and all and there's a ****load of them.

It's a cover album with a few hits and plenty of misses...

Did they make a good album? I must be in the wrong thread.

That term DOES NOT COMPUTE. Sorry I will pull the elitist card here but it's the worst oXymoron in music. Pop Punk just should not eXist. yeah but Ramones were Pop Punk.. No they weren't. They were a garage band with a love of bubblegum so they got away with it.

Punk should not be linked to Blink 182 or any other band that belts out Pop tunes under the guise of a single distorted guitar.
