I can't rank Nirvana's albums. I just don't have a strong opinion about each. I think it's because they are a band I like more for their sound than any of their songwriting in particular, and each album has something different to offer...

Well played. Not sure Pure Rock Fury would be second but I like where you're at. Beale Street is where I'd put it, but only because its a hard album to rate.

I'm not sure if anybody would have the same Bowie list as anyone else, (personally I'd put Diamond Dogs and Earthling higher) he's just one of those artists i suppose

I edited my post and swapped Earthling with Let's Dance just before you replied

And now that I think about it, it's probably as worthy as Reality.

Diamond Dogs is great but I like Young Americans too much to demote it. Something tells me I should give Lodger a few more listens though.
