The Who: Sell Out> Who's Next> Quadrophenia> Who By Numbers> A Quick One> Tommy> The Who: Sings My Generation> Who Are You.
Those are my fav Who albums from most favorite to least favorite album of there's.
Do not get me wrong though I love the Who Are You album, its just not my favorite of theirs.

John Coltrane (15 albums):

Sun Ship > A Love Supreme > Giant Steps > Coltrane: Live at Birdland > Ascension > My Favorite Things > Expression > Blue Train > Coltrane: Live at the Village Vanguard > Transition > The Olatunji Concert: The Last Live Recording > Impressions > Olé > Om > Interstellar Space

Still way too much to check out, of course...

Neil Young's first five (studio) albums:

Everybody Knows this is Nowhere > After the Goldrush > Harvest > On the Beach >>> Self-titled

I don't want to attempt to rank all his albums right now, not like I could anyways.

It's a difficult one but, 70s Gong:

Flying Teapot > Camembert Electrique > Angel's Egg > You > Shamal > Magick Brother

Albeit they're all amazing.
