Other than one or two songs......I have no time for Led Zeppelin. I know they are meant to be just about the greatest rock band ever (according to Led Zeppelin fans) but I always found them overrated.

you got support here, i can't stand them. used to, but every song sounds the damn same. only when i'm really, really drunk do i enjoy ac/dc. but hell, when i was hammered on saturday i found myself singing along to bon jovi...

I only saw the video for that one-if I don't like a band I tend to change the channel or station.

I never really saw the appeal in Pantera either. It seems especially annoying that they've got more recognition now that Dimebag was shot.

^speaking of Darby Crash, I saw a biography on him at the store. Is it a good read? or if you haven't read it, from what you know of him, would it be a good read?

If you've got an interest in the Germs or Darby it'd probably be a great read, he was a really interesting(damn well near insane) guy.

I just feel sorry for a guy who killed himself to get fame. I'm glad he never got what he wanted-if you want something hard enough you should try, not take the easy option.

Erm... no. I've heard plenty of songs by REM. But I have only seen one of their videos. Please, stop following me around the forum and trying to make me look like a fool. It's embarrassing. I'm actually getting into Cocteau Twins. Her voice is really beautiful, and Treasure is a pretty decent album.

I still don't like it as much as the few songs she did with Massive Attack though. Maybe after a couple more listens.

Yeah I hate rap and emo period. The only good Progressive Rock band I've listened to, is Tool. Why is Metallica listed in that post ^. I should spank you =|.

I don't really consider Tool progressive. I consider them .....experimental....yeah!

It's just one of those labels. I'd just stick with using Metal. Not the crappy kind of metal, but the good kind.
