One album, yeah. I should totally understand a rapper's "style" or "flow" from one listen to one album, you're right. How could I not?

You know, what really bugs me is that you, as usual, focus on the negative reception for one album and completely ignore the positive reaction I gave to, say, Antiphon. Not a squeak from you on that. You'd rather fight with me over something I don't like and you think I should like and therefore decide to insult me. But hey, that's you; I shouldn't expect anything else really, should I?

The main thing in May is that I'm curious to see if you think Diana Krall is as disappointingly boring an artist as I think she is. Oh and Oceano is on the list somewhere. That should be fun, if you don't dodge it somehow.
Oceano I think I already heard - are they something in the nu-metal line? Didn't like it, but unless there's a valid reason for me to skip the album (or I can't find it) then chances are I'll be doing it. I don't try to avoid things, but there are certain criteria I use, as posted in the OP.

Actually, yes. You could've also googled it and understood it in 2 seconds instead of getting pissy at me for referencing it.

I actually do not even care that you don't like the album (even though the beginning of the review is all praise...), I just think you bailed on it for a shortsighted reason. And I didn't mean to be insulting when I said you don't seem to understand the irony of it. I said it because you're demonstrating a total lack of understanding and have now married yourself to it out of stubbornness since I brought it up. Would you like me lie to you?

Sorry for not replying to your Antiphon review. I'll do it now. Yayy you like Antiphon too! Good job, TH!

Modern deathcore band from France. Can't say I'm a fan, but I like them more than most very similar acts.

Pretty sure they're one of any number of other bands who are embarrassed to be deathcore but aren't really capable of being anything else so they just chuck some other **** in there and pretend to be progressive.

I haven't actually listened to any of their music for more than a year, but I remember liking the sound of some of their tracks. They're not anything special. If they were, I wouldn't so easily forget that they exist.

MAY
I'll put this in the OP too but just so you know: in future, from this month onwards, I'm going to include a reaction image at the start of the review ONLY in cases where I was very surprised by my reaction to an album, positive or negative. Good reactions that weren't expected will get this one

and ones where I thought the album would be great and it let me down will be denoted by

Why? Well it will give you a quick idea, if you don't fancy reading the whole thing or skipping to the rating, as to the impression the album made on me. Also, it's fun for me. I like fun.

Albums that a) I wasn't sure about b) had no clue about or c) didn't vary that much from what I expected (good or bad) won't get the image, just the ones that fulfil either of the above criteria. I'm only doing this from now on, as I have no intention of going back and checking all the albums I did for the last four months. But from this point on, if you see either image you'll know what to expect.

[reserved for May index part three]
(I'm only doing this because, despite the fact that I've never needed a third part of any index up to now, if I don't reserve the post you can be damn sure this will be the one month it goes over.)
