What if I told you that all of those songs are really, really basic - apart from an occasional bit of shredding? Where is the massive display of talent!

It's not that simple music can't be good, but personally, I feel like this crosses the line and goes deep into hamfisted and corny territory. It's cheesy in a bad way. There's no dimensions or nuances to any of this. It's just four to the floor stomping and overdone macho vocals. I don't think I'm suddenly going to see the light and become a glam metal convert.

In my opinion.

Not completely, but inaccurate enough to dismiss them.

There's always Hanoi Rocks. They're more glam rock than glam metal but they were still of the period.

Specialization. Dentists could be plumbers but most plumbers couldn’t be a dentist. A dentist might not know how fix his toilet but he has the aptitude to learn.
