I heard that GLAM, (the 80s' variety) stood for "*** LA Metal." True or not true, idk.

Interesting side note: Cinderella came from the Philly suburban area and I've seen where some don't consider them of that ilk (Glam). They were more Hard Rock & Blues Rock to them, saying that I'm not trying to exclude the band as Metal. If they were Glam it's by the same extension that STP was Grunge. When talking about time periods in music bands somehow pick up each others sound - I guess through osmosis.

Those guys were much more talented, they knew their instruments better, they loved to make really good music, not just for people with no brain, no musical taste and soul. Thanks to Nirvana for Biebers, Kardashians and other pieces of ****. Good job grunge. It's all about what resulted from killing mainstream of the 80s. How ironic, they claimed to be the so-called "saviors" of rock music when actually they are the reason why we have all these whiny emo, screamo, & metalcore bands today.
They make it seem like once Nirvana's Nevermind was released it literally shattered the glam/sunset strip sound which is complete bull****. Guns N Roses' Use your illusions were released around the same time as nevermind and they ****ted on Nirvana. It wasn't until early in 1993 when it Grunge started to outrun the Glam L.A sound. Def Leppard released Adrenalize in 1992 that was arguably selling more than nirvana.

Really? REALLY? ARE YOU SO DAMN STUPID THAT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A GUITAR SOLO IS?

Literally the most popular grunge song of all time has a solo in it. Oh, let me guess, it's a simple thing to play so it's not a solo? Solo's aren't shredding, they are the vocal of that moment in a song.

If it's shredding you want, here you go! 1:14 Cobain hides in the background a shred that kills almost all your glam bands.
