I've only just found out about this.

1 Bull in the Heather
2 Sugar Kane
3 100%
4 Kool Thing
5 Disappearer
6 Superstar
7 Stones
8 Tuff Gnarl
9 Teenage Riot
10 Shadow of a Doubt
11 Rain on Tin
12 Tom Violence
13 Mary-Christ
14 World Looks Red
15 Expressway to Yr Skull
16 Slow Revolution

A funny little compilation, overall looks nice but there's a few startling ommissions (Silver Rocket, Death Valley 69) and some pretty weird choices (Stones, Rain On Tin). This is mainly down to the fact the tracks are picked by a few celebs including Flea, Eddie Vedder, Beck and... Chloe Sevigny.

And its being released through Starbucks. Hmm.

Stones and Rain on Tin are great songs!

Radiohead chose Kool Thing didn't they? Not the song I'd have expcted them to pick, I have to say.

Yeah, just think there's far better. From the respective albums i'd go Dripping Dream and Radical Adults Lick Godhead Style.

I advocate the choice of 100% on that comp though. A great scuzzy tune.

^ of the ones i have, my list would read almost exactly like that. Sister is wicked. Has it been reissued yet? I'm quite fond of the slightly dreamier, more distant vibe of that album.

Experimental Jet Set wasn't that bad, also Murray Street was one of Sonic Youth's best albums in my opinion.
