body piercings-safe or not?

I want a lip ring, just a small one, with a little ball thing on it, on the left side of my mouth. Do they hurt??

I have my ears and belly done. I wouldn't get anything else done. And my belly I did myself, because around here they do it with a ear gun and everyone who got it done it got infected.. So when I was 14 or 15 stoned and drunk one night, I went home and got a safety pin... yay! anyways never had a problem with it till I gained weight and it rubed up on my pants but then I lost the weigh again and its fine..

note: fat people look stupid with belly piercings.

and I also think most percings look gay on men.. more so when there adults. my brother has his eye brow, and nipple's done.. and plus he has tattoos everywhere.. and he looks gay.. and he's only liek 5"9 120 pounds.

haha, i'd never seen anyone in real life with their anti brow pierced till yesterday, its abit dirt.
haaa.
also, my friend wants her lips pierced, but like little balls actually ON her lips, not like under, actually in her lips.
yup.
