I've never been to America so maybe it's not my place to say this, but from a european point of view I think it's American politics and the fact that your president has an IQ like a 12 year old (Said by an american, not me!) that makes european people disaprove of America. And the death penalty and the fact that everyone can have a gun does not make it better.
One thing that pisses me of personally is that a lot of amricans seem to think that america does not need europe and that america is the world!
Just for the record you are europeans!!! or atleast your ancestors!!!

And normally Americans make the assumptions. But I'd say this one is off, as I'm fairly sure we do have quite a few with ancestors from Africa, Asia, etc.

At the end of a speech Bush gave, he raised his fist with his index and pinky pointing up which was supposed to be the sign of love for his college or whatever he went to (the longhorns) but in Sweden, Norway or some other european country, it was a salute to Satan. It was in the funny news section of my local newspaper

It's an accepted gesture to say "I love you" in sign language.
