The time I checked it was 17 minutes before he passed using that. He was writing in a journal and stopped writing at 17 minutes, probably dying at least over an hour later.

Modern cars burn gas more efficiently, creating less CO. If you have some low class cars, that will work great. You'll hallucinate and have a bad headache but it'll work. If you were wondering why I wouldn't do that it is because the car I would have access to is a mercedes.

A may be a little off topic, but if you're looking for a way to kill yourself, why not just do the old fashion thing and take a bullet to the head?

I have no plans to kill myself, but think, think of how hard it would be to actually hold a real gun to your head and then pull the trigger knowing that with that small movement of your finger you would end your life.

What relief? You wouldn't feel the relief because you would be dead and if you somehow survived it life would suck so much.

That being true, the person doing it must really want to be dead and once they do it...they're free. Whether they go up or down [heaven or hell] or whatever....they're no longer living so they got what they desired...death.
