Well it doesn't really work like that, once you get used to speaking a language you don't translate in your head any more. But you get the thing where some oddities from one language start to sound natural in both. I especially start to mix idiom when I get tired. Also switching between languages is hard, when I've just been talking on the phone to my family I start talking Dutch to English people without thinking
