People keep telling me I'm smart and or intelligent, which frankly is starting to wear on me. First, it's insulting to people with above average intelligence. Second, it's a total cocktease meant to give me some bullshit confidence boost. There's nothing more I hate than people who call me "smart", it makes me want to put my hand through a wall sometimes. I can't trust anyone's opinion about me anymore, and I feel like I'm starting to fade away mentally, slowly losing grip of my self perception. I often feel like I don't exist, and I often forget I actually have a body and a face until I see myself in the mirror. Is it possible to exist and not exist? To exist physically within space, but not mentally?

That is odd. I would take pride if people call me smart even if it is not exactly true. ODD.

Are you offended because you don't believe you are intelligent or because you don't value their opinion? If it's because you don't believe it maybe your low self esteem is getting in the way of a sincere compliment? It's hard when your inner critics drown out the positive messages from others.

You don't have to trust people's opinion of you. Just take the compliment for what it is and keep moving along. Your opinion of yourself is the one that should take precedence.

I know that feeling though when other people call you smart and you don't necessarily feel like it.

Broke my nose on Saturday night, my face really ****ing hurts.


And my huge nose is like 4x bigger than it was.


And I left my rolling tin in my bag which is at a guys house and I couldn't pick it up cos he told me his dog died poor thing. So I'm awake at 4am with no smokes.

I was hugging a drunk girl from work and she jumped up on me which caused me to fall and smash my face off his kitchen bunker, my first thoughts were that I'd broke my eye socket. My whole face is agony, I can't even wear my glasses properly haha.
