I enjoy fireworks on the day they are intended. But, there is always neighbours who hoard them and you hear them night after night. Well, in New Zealand it does as we celebrate Guy Forkes Day on November 5. Then it's irritating as it is used sporadically.

Too broke to afford new drumsticks so the ones I'm using are around 70% superglue with worn off tips. Luckily I'm going to start working again, but I have some debts that take priority over new drumsticks that'll take up most of my first paycheck. So it'll probably be around a month before I can get some good sticks. ****.

Improvise, man. TV antenneas with some cotton balls taped to the end or something.

A lot harder than it sounds mate. I use unconventional things like clarinet bells, spoons, screwdrivers, homemade brushes made from guitar strings, necklaces, etc. but I've yet to come across something that mimics the stick.
