I can, some of them do but it depends on brand and the ring pull tins are more expensive, I just buy the supermarket brand ones mostly.

Corned beef has a little key thing on it to open the tin.

@Planks nice one that's got more to it than what I do, might give that a go. I usually just fry it in butter with onions

This is exactly why I stopped buying the pop tops. I was all for the convenience at first, but then began paying attention. Not only that, but the tuna in the regular cans have a finer cut, as opposed to the chunkier and stiffer cuts in the ring tops. But yeah on the price dif.

As above, I just fry it in butter with onions and eat with mashed potato (bake the potatoes and scoop out the potato instead of the usual boiling method ftw) and marrowfat peas. Often without onions. Sometimes just eat it straight out the tin. I do that with Tuna and the Pilchards also.

That sounds good, ive never had it that way. i use onions too but first i start by adding oil then i let the onions simmer a bit in it then i add the corned beef and add tomato sauce, food colouring and some sofrito.

Idk what they call sofrito where you are from but maybe you seen it.

My favorite method:
  • Open can (using P38)
  • Empty contents into microwave safe dish
  • Cook in microwave for about 2 minutes
  • Stir to even warmth
  • Put in mouth

I usually save CBH for hearty breakfast mornings, so as a side with eggs, toast, and maybe some sort of fresh fruit is nice, but it's awesome in a skillet. I used to put hot sauce on it too, but I got tired of having to chew on an entire roll of Tums afterwards.

I'm surprisingly good at it. I don't do it more than is natural (I don't think), but I am quite good at sticking my finger down my throat (for small emulsions). I've even tested it out with penises, and when drunk it works decently, though the recipient isn't nearly as pleased. Wuss.
