Is it weird that when we did anal we didn't use lube? Although we mostly did it when I was already super turned on and had enough lubrication for both/was relaxed and he's very gentle

No, it's not weird.

The main reason I use lube is because I want it to be as comfortable as possible and I use a silicon-based lube because the one that I get doesn't dry after awhile like other lubes tend to do.
