You know it's fascinating reading what you guys think of living in your own particular areas in America.

Wow, you should prob go choke on a ****. Florida is the most diverse state I have ever seen. I grew up in the sticks, lived ten minutes from the beach, and five from the city. Back your **** up with some sort of logical explanation...

Yeah, we hate on each others states until thousands of people die, then we become unified for a few years then go right back at it. Thats all it takes.

Really? What do you find diverse about it?

Not too many people are actually FL natives, we have tons of mexican immigrants working the tomato/orange fields, half the state is a beach, the other half is a mix of theme parks, trailer trash, woods, and suburbs. Snow birds (if youre not familiar old people that come from the north to escape harsh winters). Its a pretty weird place as for the fact that neighboring towns are completely different. I grew up on a dirt road on a farm, moved to the next town over which is the second largest city in the state also has the 5th fastest growing population density in the states, is covered with lakes and canals.

I never found it to be all that diverse when I lived there, not in terms of people and definitely not in terms of geography or anything. I mean, sure some towns are different from each other but that's true of anywhere really. Now California, on the other hand, is a totally different story. I just moved here about six months ago and I'm just amazed by what a mixed bag this state is. Not only is it a huge melting pot of cultures and ideas but it has probably the most varied environments in the country. I can see dense urban areas, little hick towns, deserts, snow-capped mountains, beautiful beaches, craggy ocean-side cliffs, towering forests, and flat open farmland all without ever leaving the state.

Geographically, youre right as hell. My best bud is from there and just moved back so Ive actually seen alot. It is. The thing is FL is flat as heck, so that takes away from alot of it. A warm state with mountains is dope. Try South Florida... Its a hole different ballpark. Miami...the keys...lauderdale...sooo different.

Yeah, south Florida is definitely my favorite part of the state. I've never been to the keys but I like Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. I agree it's different from the rest of the state, but it's still not that different. Considering how big Florida is you'd think it would have a lot more variety from place to place really.
