If it would make you happier, I'd be willing to second anticipation's nomination. I'd do this just for YOU, Big3, because I'm so very, very, *very* kind. I like your sig quote, by the way. I have no arguments with you over the wisdom of that quote! Everything else, though, well.... ;) |

If you Children of the Corn could see how glorious New England is, you'd never go home. Tell the floodlands I said hello. |

Secondly, thats no attitude to have. Whats the reason for pessimism? Funds, grades, or health? |
I think it's just that I'm completely content with being a tosser ;). I don't really have the money, and I don't see much point in trying to aquire it because I have no desire to go. I think as long as I can provide for myself I'll be perfectly content with whatever menial jobs come my way. At least for now.

The best part of New England, I'd say, is the foliage in autumn. And the ocean. Harvard Yard isn't too bad, either, except the place is overrun with people from NYC. Those darn New Yorkers make it hard to hear a Bostan accent at all when in Harvard Yard! :( Very disappointing. I can't say I miss the East Coast at all. I prefer being a country bumpkin, surrounded by the lifestyle of animal exploitation that I so despise. It is very inspirational! :) Quote:
You don't really think of yourself as a tosser, do you, Conan? |

But there isn't usually that *desolation* feeling of being in the country, like in Iowa. Alone. Far from people. Ha! Take that, New England! :/ |

And to think Boston = Massachusetts is also wrong. Northern Maine has so few residents it doesn't even name its towns. Its just Township 403 and things like that. |
Random personal qualities that leaves me preferring the Midwest (although to be fair, Baltimore and NYC are the extent of my East Coast journeys):
1) I like sports a lot, especially college football. Other than maybe the Deep South, nobody competes with the Midwest's love of college football. 2) I don't like Seafood. I like Midwestern food. Detroit and Chicago pizza > New York style. 3) I don't like their accents. 4) I've lived in the Midwest my whole life and it has a comforting feeling about it. 5) People from New England act like Big3. |
