not really. i mean i do think women care more about what other women think than guys care what other guys think. women are a lot more outwardly jealous towards other women and i find them much more petty. women also will let a small problem become a big one by lettin things linger, gossip, and holdin dumb grudges. in that way they take themselves seriously i guess but its just a difference in the sexes. i dont think men act like that much. in my experience the only men who do the gossip, petty stuff are the flamboyant types which not surprisin is like 1 percent of men ive met

I've lived in various countries and cultures over the years and, in my experience, men take themselves more seriously than women and are more inclined to try and act macho or cool or as know-it-alls and are much more egotistical and dishonest - all signs that that they take themselves and life too seriously.

There are exceptions, of course, I'm not saying all men act this way or that all women are at ease with themselves, but in my experience women are more carefree than men. Indeed I get on with women better than I do men for that very reason. But, you know, maybe I've just been lucky in regards to the women I've met, and unlucky in regards to the men I've met.
