I know I've posted this before, but there is no better way:

A fitting end.

Well yeah, that's all very well for stick men. They have very little body weigh to contend with. Try doing that with a real person I think it might be a lot more messy. Also, this is a hate crime against stick people, and those who choose to identify with them. Haven't you ever seen The Saint?

Joining into the RIPs for Jaki Liebezeit.
If I had a favourite band it would probably be Can and he was such an important part of what made them amazing.

What's weird is that on Saturday, the day before he died, I randomly looked him up on wikipedia to see whether he hadn't died without me noticing.

Stay away from Wikipedia, please.

One of the all time greats, RIP John Hurt.

The only thing I remember him from is Alien but he had pretty much the best horror scene of all-time so RIP.

RIP Apollo 1 astronauts Ed White (from left), Gus Grissom and Roger Chaffee, 1967. The astronauts died as a result of a fire in the cockpit during a training session on Jan. 27, 1967.

By an eerie coincidence, I was listening to a song about this disaster just moments ago. I Googled it to read more about the incident only to find an NPR report from Wednesday revealing that:

Quote:
...For 50 years, NASA kept the Apollo 1 command module locked up — until now. Beginning Friday, the hatch from the burned capsule will be put on public display at the Kennedy Space Center as a tribute to the sacrifices of Grissom, White and Chaffee.
