So no signs of how he died apparent on him at all? Nothing around him but a straw? And is it a drinking straw, not straw like hay?

He was a black market sex slave being led by a cruel master with other sex slaves, all of which are nude. The master is leading them through the field to their destination avoid roads and the freeing of his slaves. It's not immediately apparent how he died. And, yes, just the straw, a drinking straw.
