as long as it wasn't Coal Chamber, I'll be civil about it.

Not sure what defines nu metal either. The way I think about it, it might qualify if it has those jump-da-****-up-and-down type riffs.

errorzone by vein

math/metalcore mainly but i guess the nu metal label comes from certain elements that do kinda give you a deftones or early slipknot vibe.

worth noting those are like the only two tolerable nu metal acts, for me at least.

I'm missing the Deftones vibe. I see early Slipknot though.

i listened to it once so maybe im missing the mark with my comparison dont hold me to it

either way it’s pretty cool and unlike pretty much all other nu metal it isn’t cringy so at least there’s that

Ok, I can agree with that. They were ridiculous with the way they looked. I think the lead singer has only gotten more stupid with time.
