Can we all just agree that mustard deserves ketchup's place in the condiment hierarchy? Even when it isn't the best choice it's still an interesting choice.

While I don't put it on much (it's a must on Montreal smoked meat), I can agree with that.

On eggs? Yeah, my wife does that too.

I often put bone suckin' sauce on my eggs, just enough to add some flavour.

OK, if you insist, Marie - I'll spare myself this self-flagellating act of devotion, lol. Actually, I may try it though. I don't think they really put all that much *cage-free mayo* on it.

Despite Plankton's shrug and in all deference to you and your lovely wife, I just can't bring myself to do ketchup (or bone suckin' lol) on eggs. It's like mushy on mushy! I'm kind of anti-condiment in generally, actually. I just don't like mushy, lol. I'm very dry in my food tastes.

Hey, to each their own! I get the mushy on mushy too.

On that note, I'm trying a chocolate chip muffin I made last night. *taps my back*

I loaded it up with hemp seeds to give my kids a little extra oomph.

Sounds great - you're a good Dad, MC!

My son asked if I could make the "Gordon Ramsay velvet eggs breakfast" this weekend, so we'll probably have this on Saturday. Gordon's scrambled eggs cooking technique, with the addition of the crème fraîche, turns out beautifully imo. I never make eggs any other way now. And the pan fried tiny vine tomatoes and flat cap mushrooms, with robust sourdough toast. Yum!

Straight on the eggs is a bit much, but when you have a skillet w/hash brown potatoes (along with maybe some CBH) and eggs over easy on top, a little ketchup mixed in is nice.

Now I'm hungry. Time for lunch.
