I think my biggest fear concerning homophobia, is that a guy I date will cheat (not dump) for someone of the same gender. That'll probably break whatever self esteem I have. The way i see it, you're saying that no matter how much I loved you, or worked at our relationship it could've never worked out because I can't change me sex.
Granted if the guy cheated on me with another girl I'd still feel devastated but . . .

Guys that cheat are scum bags period. :) And girls that cheat are scum bags as well. :)

ok, well i see you're trying to be polite about it. lemme put it this way, the guy that cheats on you with another guy was bisexual or gay when you first started dating him...you certainly would not be the reason why that man has turned to guys....if the guy was gay and dated you, he has problems , if he's bisexual and then cheated on you with a guy, it was never meant to be and he simply doesn't care for you much....self esteam has nothing to do with it...contrary to popular belief, people can't be TURNED into gays....:-/

Hello

DearJenny 07-10-2006 01:59 PM

I like strong guys, not overly emotional, open, outgoing, not afraid at all to make the first move. My last boyfriend was puerto rican, and he was just like stereotypes suggest, so I'm not like racist, but I'm not going to date outside my race ever again, white boys for me! lol. Since I tend to date guys my friends have already dated, I ask about his past relationships and base decisions off that. Physically I like bigger guys because I'm not like a supermodel and I dont like my guy to be prettier than me. lol.

Warning to guys: Dont break up with girls over myspace.....they'll want revenge.

I think I'd want someone who's different from me who I can talk to and think 'Wow he's weird. Damn I love it.' Being open-minded and freedom are very important to me, so I would want someone who's free spirited and who's not prejudiced or afraid of change. Humor is also very important, so I'd want someone who can take life lightly and make a joke out of most situations. I have a thing for shy intelligent boys that turn out to be extremly fun to hang out with, musicians and artists, guys who aren't afraid of their feminine side, and I hate overly protective masculine types. It all depends on the person though, when I meet them I'll know if I like him or not.
