I'd agree if didn't feel dead all over anyways. Every now and then a night comes up that I just don't sleep at all. It's sunrise again right now. I have **** to do today.

So went to see my doctor today. I weighed in at 133 fully clothed. I've never seen the guy so serious after he saw me with my shirt off. First thing is to screen for cancer. They drew 6 viles of blood and he scheduled a full body CT scan.

They just updated my online heath record will all of my latest vitals. This is pretty nuts.

She usually hangs out in the neighbourhood during the day and didn't come back. Her name is Shooter.

I'm honestly not very optimistic. She was very old and had been losing weight rapidly the week before she left. Lots of coyotes in our area too.

In other news, I'm now the marketing director for my company, which came with a nice raise.

So my appetite has slowly started to return but I've been taking it really slow. This morning I woke up hungry and said **** it and headed out for a full breakfast. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast, and coffee.

Within 10 minutes my stomach starting grumbling *baby steps idiot*. *baby steps*.

Long story short: $14 down the drain.

Uncle Sam owes me $9,226.00 - I have the best tax guy on the planet. This will pay off all of the charges Linda made to fly back east and handle her mom's funeral and all of the peripheral expenses. We paid for basically everything.

It'll also allow us to do some things we've been holding off doing because of our situation. I'm going to buy some new clothes for the first time in a long time. The jeans I have on right now are basically vaporizing. And we can get a tune up on the car which is long overdue. Might even take Linny out to dinner for the first time in years.

Back in 2006 Linda and I (and a half dozen other empoyees of our old company) invested in a start up that would use our patented technology, we would be the manufacturer, and would be marketed and have sales run by a major icon in the professional electronics industry. The products were super high end studio monitors with some very innovative and trick technology.

We did demos of them in LA and New York and they got rave reviews. Will.I.Am from Black Eye Peas was at the New York demo and bought the demo units on the spot.l

We're talking $4K to $6K each!

We placed large production orders and started taking advance orders.

The way it was suppose to work is that our investment ($44K - we took out a second mortgage) would be paid back in monthly installments with interest. I think we got maybe 4-5 checks before BAM!!!!!!!!

The economic crash. Sales died almost overnight. We're sitting on tons of inventory and the factory wants to be paid. We're sitting on $100K of tooling orders that aren't getting paid. The checks stopped coming.

The company has lost massive amounts of money each year ever since and is currently on the verge of bankruptcy. We do have a couple of Asian companies interested in buying the compnay and technology (fingers crossed - we'd get 150% of our investment back).

So we're able to write off a huge loss every year. About $6K of the $9K is directly because of the loss.

So two weeks ago I decided it's been a little too long since I last saw my doctor. So I hit him up and made an appointment to come in earlier today and he gave me some news I didn't expect to hear. I don't mean to be alarmist, but he told me I have about two and a half months left...




Till I dance my ass off at the LCD SS show. My doctors my uncle, he bought tickets too.
