Today I got a job as a real, qualified teacher. So from January 2011 I will officially be a teacher, on my own, with my very own class and everything! I'm terrified.

I can definitely imagine how daunting it must be for a new teacher, but I'm sure you'll be amazing.

Just don't have sex with a student, don't smack a student so hard it leaves a mark, and be a cool teacher that gives out candy. Then you'll be set.

Thanks wifey :) I've got Prep! Which is the very first year of the primary school curriculum and I think the equivalent of either Kindergarten or Grade 1 in the US? 5-6 year olds... it's the one year level I hoped I didn't get put with but oh well! Fingers crossed haha...
