Ugh. He took out my friend instead and now they're married. And she's not my friend anymore.

What an *******! Who does that eh? I'm glad you cut her out of your life because that's not what friends do. I've met some idiot guys in my time.

It was kind of sad that it came to that though. I had known her all my life because she had been part of my mom's daycare when we were toddlers (her very first client actually), and we went to school together (for most of it)... then this guy came between us and that was it.

If you're like me, you like to see how many page visits you have. It's an ego thing I think. But today I checked and yesterday I was nearing about 500 visits, now I'm 45,651. How the HELL did this happen? It has to be some technical issues or something. I don't even know.

Woah, yeah I see that. You're really popular I guess! I've only got 4,214 visits and I joined 4 years ago.

Had to work, as per usual, and on the outbound campaign to fix the **** - still have the rest of this week and all of next week for that one.

Fortunately, the dialer slowed down enough (another technical bug that may end up getting me stuck on this campaign even longer) to allow conversation between my fellow inconvenienced and 'tenured' reps. I ended up pulling out a deck of cards, and we played an immense game of rummy, that involved a lot of standing up and walking to play a card, while still attached to a headset. The floor manager looked irritated, but we decided we'd keep playing until he expressly told us to stop - which he didn't, because technically we were staying logged in and still pausing the game to take calls, handling the calls appropriately and all of that, so there was really nothing inherently WRONG about what we were doing.

Also found out that Allison Anders, who, in a brief facebook exchange almost two years ago told me about a plan for a red scare movie based in Ashland...got that concept fleshed out and picked up for development. As a TV SHOW for AMC! Insiders are saying it's being billed to replace Mad Men, which is winding down.

Check out the official release here

And, for those scratching their heads at why this is important to me...direct your attention to my location. That's right. My little city of 22k or so is set to be an AMC series, about the red scare. Hell to the yes. And Allison Anders, you are my goddess.

EDIT: The only issue I've noticed is that they referenced Ashland as a "small mining town," when we're actually a steel producing town. The steel mill is and was (along with our oil refinery) our major source of industry. I don't know if that's creative license or no, but we don't actually have, and haven't had, coal mining here.

Oh yeah that is sad. Sorry to hear it happened. Hope you have good friends that stick by you now?

So it looks like I accidentally magnetised my phone this morning and there doesn't seem to be a way to fix it that won't involve me having to deal with phone shop employees. On the plus side, I get a day off school today for a doctor's appointment for a semi-serious head problem that I probably don't have.

Yeah, I do. I love my friends. Except for the one friend who said she was in love with my boyfriend and cut herself out of my life because she couldn't handle it. Not before telling me all the explicit fantasies she had about him (like some real crazy sh*t). That was only a couple of months ago.
