Getting pissed off with people saying and suggesting one thing and meaning another.

I used to think that being honest was the best policy in all walks of life. I'm not so sure these days

Today i discovered a new definition of the word 'irony' - being told by a Linkin Park fan that you have no taste in music.

I was once told by an emo kid I am very closed minded when it comes to music. I had no idea how to respond. I had never even considered that someone could say that to me, so I was totally speechless. Later on I came up with some great responses in my head.

Today somebody said to me
"Green Day are more like Punk grown up, like a more mature version"
I think that sums up how crappy my day was.

Heh. That reminds me of the time that a former coworker of mine, who only listened to straightedge hardcore, was giving me a hard time for listening to some Mexican avant-rock at my desk and told me I had incredibly narrow taste in music.
