Hey, have you heard about the massive El Nino that's building up that they're predicting will be worse than the one in 97, which you probably don't remember becasue you were still in diapers. It would rain so hard it that highway traffic would have to come to a full stop.

So we'll be getting two inches of rain? I, for one, am terrified. I was also living in Arizona in 97.

That actually bothers me, if im going to your country it's only fitting i learn your language, i don't understand how some latinos emigrate to the US and never put any effort in learning english, i understand the older you get the harder it is to learn a new language but even that is no excuse to not knowing at least a bit of basic english.

English is way easier to learn than spanish, as a kid i used to get A's in my english classes and C's in my spanish ones.
We have a lot of shop workers that are Latino, and some Polish too. There are a couple of Polish guy's that have been here for over a decade and still don't speak English well enough to be able to have a normal conversation. One of them is our top welder, and it's a pain in the ass to have to explain things vocally, so the term "A picture is worth a thousand words" goes a long way here.

The Latino's are all good though, and they're making arrachera taco's today at lunchtime. I'm gettin in on some a that action.

This is why I'm never moving to a country where English isn't the first language.
